I love the cold in Florida..Being from Maryland, our cold is not really bitter.it's just cold...

Reasons I love the cold ..

A. No noisy neighbors..they are inside
B. SPeck / crappie fishing
C. Game is easier to keep from spoiling
D. Thanksgiving and Christmas vacation..I'm a teacher { -;
E. Deer move more IMHO
F. Christmas Spirit for me starts right after Halloween love that Spirit..songs lifting up Jesus in about every store..
G. Hunting Season..have Sats to look foward too
H Fresh citrus on the trees..tangerines, Red Navels, Ruby Red Grapefruits
I I don't sweat as much..
J.Easier to breath..less humid
K. Save on the AC bill
L. Time for family I normally neglect..Christmas Cards and phone calls.
M. new toys for Christmas
N no mosquitoes..save on Therma Cell stuff.
O Less snakes

It was 38 when we hit the woods to scout this a.m. I know thats not real cold but it was cold enough. lol Have any of you central Fla. guys been seeing many fresh rubs yet? We have not seen the first in our area. Good luck to you guys, Ray

This one is from some private property in Brevard about 3 weeks ago, that cypress tree is about 5" in diameter at the bottom of the rub (biggest I've seen in Fl.). I saw one almost as impressive at bull creek last weekend.
