Thanks everyone. I harvested him in NoVa. I usually do not get a good chance at the big buck up north because the temps or to hot in the afternoon, but this year I have a deer cooler to keep them cool till I get home(after work) this opens up 2-3 weeks of hunting up north.
Is this a running refrigerator in the back of your truck??
I've always thought that if I needed to keep one cool, I'd just field dress it and throw a few bags of ice inside him, and maybe lay one across the hind quarters.

StoneWall308, Yes it runs. I can put my generator in the bed and plug it in and its great. I use it up in NoVa on my way to work If I get a deer and the temps are over 60 I dont have to get ice. It also work great at the house I kept a doe in it for 2 days.
