Eng40spd, the Ground Hog are in NoVa.

I split my hunting up. Depending on what is open on Quantico If the area is close that i have been scouting I will go to some land we have in Richmond County. I do plan on spending a little more time in Richmond this season.
Where do you hunt at. King George has some nice land, hard to access

I've been doing the deer counts and thats gotten me fired up a tad....still too early for me to get overly excited....I did order a deer cart and I have started moving stands so I'm ready, but I know i'll get so much more excited as the days go by.

I have been shooting my bow for a couple of weeks now. I have also sprayed some waterproofing seal onto my blinds. Hung a new stand in NOVA along with placing out a trail cam over there. Hoping to put out some new stands at a farm in Culpepper and started getting in touch more with the guys on our lease in SW VA. Starting to get the hunting ITCH bad!!!

Man I can't wait for the season to start. after moving back to florida from colorado last year I'm anxious to see if I still know how to chase those whitetail and hogs around in the heat.

Elk steaks for dinner from last years succes with a little archery practice in the mean time.

Can't wait for sep 25th....
