I am hearing from family around the Gonzales, Texas area, that farmers are paying to rid their properties of hogs. They are paying hunters to come as they say " massacre" some pigs.[X(]

Anyone else here from that area of Texas?

I actually have done a fair amount of hog hunting in Yoakum along the Guadalupe River, which is right next to Gonzales. My cousin has a few dozen really good hound and baying dogs. We have never been paid to remove the hogs, but we get calls every week from folks asking us to come clean out their land. It' s a losing battle though. We will run them out of an area and they will be back a week later! Good for us, but bad for the farmer
