Default North Texas Public Pig & Coyote Hunting?

Hi everyone, I was looking at getting into pig/coyote hunting and was wondering if there were any public areas (with the public permit) out there that #1 allow such hunting and #2 might be good spots to start out?

I briefly looked at some of the maps on the website around my area and most (if not all) are dove only. Not opposed to driving a couple hours of course if it means somewhere I can do this.

Thanks!
