Default WMA Hunting Areas in South Carolina

I'm hoping to do some small game hunting in Horry (or nearby) county during the week between Christmas and New Years. My folks live in NMB and I have a 11 year old nephew near Carolina Forest who wants to hunt so bad, he can't stand it. I thought that a hunting trip (and a few accessories) would be a great Christmas present for him. I think for now our best bet would be squirrels. I'd prefer doves and ducks, but am trying to keep it simple. Still may be an option though.

I started doing some research on the area and found the Lewis Ocean Bay Heritage Preserve is pretty close by. Granted, I've just started learning about SC laws (which seem complex, but probably only since I've ever hunted in VA) and seasons so I may have a few odd questions.

Anyway, if anyone has some advice that may point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. I plan to spend the next few days on your department of game website, so you'll have to excuse my lack of SC regs for now as I get it figured out.

Information is a two way street, so anyone looking for similar the same about Virginia, I'll be glad to share.

Thanks
