I went down to the lease I am on in Radford, Va from the Wed-Wed before Thanksgiving. We had a great hunt. All in all we shot a 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 point bucks, 2 button bucks and 9 does. I also shot 5 does on Tues with the help of DCAP permits. The picture below is the 7 pointer that I shot on Friday morning. I ended up seeing 5 different bucks that day, including a really nice 10 pointer and 9 pointer that were chasing does on the next property but wouldn't come across the fence. My buddy ended up getting the 9 pointer on the last morning of the hunt, I will also post a picture of that buck. Also on that morning I saw a coyote bluff charge a doe and she then went chasing after it. A couple more does came out of a thickit into the field and joined in with her chasing the coyote away. Pretty amazing some of the things you can see while out hunting. I just wish the temps were a little bit colder. Now it is back to the daily grind of work and family. Hope to get out this weekend if the weather isn't too bad.
