Default VA duck hunting

The weather in VA has been terrible for deer hunting, this year. Either it has been to hot or raining during the entire deer season. Rifle season has come in 2 weeks earlier this year as well as running dogs. Just intime for the rut. Decided to try my hand at duck hunting this past Saturday. I have been hearing ducks while sitting in the tree stand. Beavers have created some new habitat for the ducks. Myself and 3 others hunters went to the biggest beaver pond an hour before legal lite, and set up decoys and a make shift blind. Like clockwork the ducks began to fly and we had set up in the right spot. 3 groups of ducks came in that morning and we gave them all the hell our 12 GAs could dish out. 12 shots to every group willing to come into the decoys. Cudos to my hunting partners for the decoys and the fine calling. 1 of the ducks we shot was even banded. Tonight we eat fresh duck breasts. I plan to do it again this coming saturday

The dog chasers were not to happy about us blasting ducks during deer season.
We shot more ducks in one morning then they have shot deer in 2 weeks. What a bunch of crybabies.

Sorry wife but I think I may have a new passion.
