Hey there, I have been to Quantico to take that prelim safety thing they make you do before you hunt there and I have gotten one of the cards, but that was 2 years ago and I never used it.
If it's possible I was wondering if anyone that hunts there would let me tag along with them just to try and get to know the area. Let me know thanks guys.

you'll have to do the safety course again and renew your license for $20. You can talk to me, or anyone else on the forum about quantico, if we can't take you out there physically, we'll be more than happy to provide maps and topo maps.
Are you archery only?

Brad, you can PM me and I will do my best to answer any questions you have about Quantico. I can send you maps and some thoughts about a lot of areas. Not to be a jerk, but I am in full hunt mode right now and cannot really slow down to take someone out with me, but come late November/December I would definitely be able to get up with you and show you around some spots. Take care.
When all else fails on Quantico here in the next 3 weeks, just follow these rules and you will at least have a fighting chance.
1) Got on a topo map sight and look for aerial images...find thick green pine bedding areas, preferably on tops of hills
2) Try to find those bedding areas that are at least 500 yards from the road
3) Set up downwind of those bedding areas, maybe 30 yards off

I will most likely be archery only, until turkey comes in anyway.
