Central Florida Fall Turkey Hunting
I need to know the best areas in, around or near Central Florida for turkey in the fall.... I have found the WMA areas, but they are few, and most are kinda far away. I really don't want to waste my time going to one that is over rated. Does anyone have experience hunting fall turkey in my area on public lands??? If so which WMA produced best..
Yes I know, it's a stupid question, but now with gas getting expensive again, I really dont want to waste a trip to some place that doesn't have a decent population of turkey.

Oops, I saw Orlando in your sig. I think Three Lakes is decent. Others may differ. Of course if you can find a private ranch you will be in Turkey heaven.

At the top of the pic in the link you posted it says " season & dates are not applicable to w.m.a.'s "...
here's this years 3 lakes hunts copied and pasted from the brochure....
to me a fall season is like spring gobbler/gun hunt...but in the fall, lol....
you can take a turkey in the fall while bow hunting only....thats just an added critter choice.
I might be adding to the confusion with my thinking,lol
there's # at the bottom, you can always call that or go to myfwc.com and ask them online...
