Default South Carolina 6pt Down

South Carolina 6pt Down-6ptsc_aug18_2009.jpgTalk about hunting in heat, I guess after waiting for the new season it was worth the HEAT!! August 18,2009 visted my brother in Columbia SC and got an invite to hunt with his club I was very very reluctant to even attempt but ichy fingers couldn't resist. Of Course I broke in his new Savage .270 for him as an older brother would do....lol

Awesome deer! I haven't seen any during daylight yet. Plenty on the trail cam at night though. I think my luck will change when it cools off some.

Nice Velvet buck. My dad lives in Charleston and I have thought about going down to hunt the early rifle season and brave the heat, but it is quite expensive for out of state hunters.
