THEY GROW 'EM BIG IN N. CAROLINA

97 lb rattlesnake found near Wilmington, NC
This snake was recently found at the

old Turkey Creek located just south
of BURGAW, N.C.-- 20 MILES NORTH OF WILMINGTON, NC

A reminder that these creatures are actually out there and no matter
what you believe, sometimes they should get not only prescriptive
rights to be there but the full right of way!

9 feet, 1 inch - 97 lbs.

Good God. That pictures older than dirt. I never seen a snake that got around more. I've seen it reported to have been caught in Georgia, Texas, Missouri, and Florida. I believe it was saving up it's frequent flier miles for a trip to the Bahamas.

You all ever hear of Snopes?

http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/txsnake.asp

This photo has been floating around on gullible people's computers since at least 2005. And I'm pretty sure that if you look at the assaination photos of JFK closely, you can clearly see that very snake on the grassy knoll.

that little guy thats holding him on the end of that stick must be one strong sucker!!! if that thing weighs 97lbs he couldn't hold it up like that. i think it BS.

97 pounds my ass, that little man probably couldn't bench press 97 pounds. BTW, that is an old photo.
