I have a little experience around Paron. We go to Winona once or twice a year to fish or whatever, mainly just yo-yo. I have heard that around there is pretty good Turkey huntin. My brother in law and I went bow huntin' there last year and saw a 6 and doe, lots of scrapes and rubs. I have been meaning to go up there and go for some turkey. Maybe next week or so. Forgot to answer ur question hehe. Yup Weyerhauser did do some butchering. We didnt go too far into the woods when bowhuntin, just around the lake.

My great grandparents on my mothers side were from paron. related to all those curtis' s around there.
used to be an beautiful place! the woods were awesome! didnt see as many deer then though.

i went hunting once about 17 years ago over there didnt see a thing .went to ouachita county the next morning and took a friend . he was flat amazed he had never seen so many deer he said. i will never forget that. i was used to seeing deer . and i have just kept hunting ouachita county cause of the abundance of animals.
but our woods are disappearing quick too. soon all we will have to hunt will be briar patches![:' (]
