Testimony..
Back in 2003 I was on Tanic scouting.I was new in FLorida hunting...Now, I beleive in the verse."in all thy ways acknowledge HIm and He shall direct thy paths." so as I was scouting that still small voice told me to "drive up to Powder Grade..walk to a certain trail..turn left adn walk 70 steps and I would get my hog"...
I kind of doubted but low and behold on step 70..a sow came out and I killed her..
Now I'll be straight with ya..most times that doesn't work..but I do try to maintain a walk with God where I can discern His voice..it's not easy because WE get in the way..Anyway..yesterday while scouting ..I actually already had a place which I used for archery..It did not pan out..and I heard that still small voice say move your stand up 100 steps..Trust me..my faith rises up within me when that happens..
So yesterday I walked the 100 steps..on step 67 there was a real heavily used game trail..step 100 took me to the very edge of the bayhead I was hunting in ..The bayhead is actually shapped like a donut..so it's a small clearing and then starts another bayhead..and about 15 feet from the 100th step was another heavy trail..Well , I thought I missed God..for who would hunt that close to the edge of a bayhead...SO I took a left at the 67th step..walked about 80 steps and put my stand up by a marshy area over looking some rubs.

][]Well at 7:25 AM what do I see walking casually right on the edge of that 100th step in the clearing..yes,right out in the open..one of the biggest hogs I've ever seen.Between me and the hog were too many trees.. Before I left to day I moved my stand..and as I attached my stand to the cypress I noticed a small tree growing beside it..it had been usedby a buck for rubbing..Oh me of little faith.[:-]
