i was just wondering hows the hunting in SC so far?

Hot. Very hot.

There have been some really nice bucks killed so far this year down in the lower state. I can't wait to see what kind of quality comes out of the upper state once it opens.

I saw two nice bucks at the edge of a field last night.They were witihn a hundred yards of one of my tripods,hopefully theyll still be there on Oct.1.

Kinda slow going for me so far. Not a lot of movement at my Fairfield Co. property. I see a bunch of deer every time I go to my farm in Florence Co. though...lots of does and young bucks. No shooter bucks yet for me.

we have been doing good here in lodge,sc . out of the 5 of us we have killed an8pt, 3 6pts, and 7 doe.. good thing our doe season opened up sept. 15th..

Rifle season starts Saturday in Game Zone 2. I'll be in the woods just south of Chester very early. I so pumped up it's going to be hard to go to sleeptomorrow night.

Dag nabit. It stopped raining. I wanted it to rain through tonight and stop just beforeI get out of the truck tomorrow morning. Low tonight is going to be 61 F and the High tomorrow will be 76 F. It should be cloudy so at least the moon will be hidden. Tomorrow the winds will be out of the NE between 9 and 13 mph. Pretty much straight into my face in the ladder I'll be in.

Too windy and a little rain, nothing moved all day.
