Default Oklahoma Velvet

I'm in the SE part of the state, and lots of deer still have velvet. Some are slick, but there is still plenty of velvet. What part of Oklahoma are you from, and what are you seeing?

I hunt the S.E. part of Oklahoma and I'm still seeing some velvet. From my previous experiences ittypically takes untilthe 3rd week of September untilit's all gone.

SW part of the state and they are all velvet that I have seen. But I haven't seen a buck in 2 weeks or so, so you never know.

Getting ready to lose that velvet. Check out this picture and the blood on the ground below the buck. Pretty cool!

One more look, and the blood is a little more pronounced and visible.

Central Panhandle , still velvety but they're molting into winter coats, getting harder and harder to spot everyday [8D]
