Oklahoma Velvet
I'm in the SE part of the state, and lots of deer still have velvet. Some are slick, but there is still plenty of velvet. What part of Oklahoma are you from, and what are you seeing?

Getting ready to lose that velvet. Check out this picture and the blood on the ground below the buck. Pretty cool!

One more look, and the blood is a little more pronounced and visible.

RE: Oklahoma Velvet
I'm in the NW part and I haven't seen a buck in probably a month. Earlier I was seeing a lot of bucks, but now they are staying hid. I would say most have shed their velvet, though, or are in the process. Seeing lots of does and fawns.
