This past weekend in texas was youth only hunting. So I took my son to see if he could get his first deer. My county is 1 buck only during general season, but does were legal this weekend only.He did a clean miss on Sat morning, just watching hig go thru the motionswe take for granted made me swell up inside. On Sat evening hunt we saw 2 does, he picked the older one, 150 yards out, and droped her right on the spot.I took two hours for him to relax, and I'm still smileing now! Man what a great hunt with a great hunt'n buddy.

I envy you, Bruce. I hope to have the same chance one day. Who is the most excited, you or your son? Congratulations! You have a buddy for life now.
