Default Oklahoma Control Hunts

Anybody draw out? I drew out at the Lexington WMA for a gun hunt, got any pointers or knowledge of the area? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

blax1142 on the east side of lexington WMA their is a north/south road. going from north to south about 1/2 way down or about 1/2 mile i think. You will see some step banks on the left side of the road about 200 to 300 yards in their are some persimmon trees that used to have deer hanging around them. but i have not been down their in the last 5 years you may want to go down early and find them hope this helps

(as a note i forget to apply for the hunts)

it is a very busy place come Archery season. Study a map and try to find the hardest place to get to and hunt that location. Any easily accessed area will get hunted extremely hard. Try looking in the south east section of the main hunting grounds. Its quite a hike back there and most wont put in the effort. Where do you live in Oklahoma??

I didn't get drawn this year either. I'll ask around and If I run accross anyone with info I'll be sure and pass it on. Good luck on your hunt.

Also if you up toward Lexington before your hunt drop me an email, I only live a few miles away and can show you around.
