We'll be out there waterfowl & rabbit hunting this year, hope to see you. You're welcome to hunt w/ us, always looking for good hunters to join the party.

I am new to Quantico. Does Quantico need any pre-reservation or lottery or any other requirement for bow hunting? Or I should ask what are the procedures before hunting over there? Do you hunt in Mainsideor Guadalcanal side? Any information about there will be very helpful to me.

There's a base safety video you need to watch and if I remember correctly you need to qualify w/ your bow.

I arrowed three deer on Quantico last year..a doe, a 6 point, and an 8 point. If you kill a 150 class buck on base, you will be near the base record....not many bucks taken over 120 inches on base.

My brother just called me from VA to let me know someone shot a 26 pointer on mainside today (before the rain). If anyone has a photo, please post it. He told me the guy shot it pretty close to the golf course.
