New to site and was wondering if anyone had information about quality deer hunting club in eastern NC, Hertford county. Looking for good club to join.

See this link, it is in the same forum (South). I have a link to NC DNR site maps there. There are two areas right near Hertford open to the public and they are both pretty good during early season(bow, bp) during gun season there will be dogs and other hunters in the woods but still relatively easy to get in front of a deer. Also there are plenty of clubs in that area your best bet is to just ask some locals. There are several clubs in that area ie Hertford, Sunbury, Sand Banks, Gates County.

The areas are #'s 12 & 13 on the map: Chowan & Chowan Swamp in Gates and Hertford.

Once on the page linked use themap below and click on the area you are interested in(the pic here will not link but the on on the site itwill). There are also some PDF files you can link to and gameland books available from the state. Also if you are active duty, retired, or DOD there are some Militray installments you can hunt, I don't think they are listed on the State site but some may be.
