Anyone read about the empty holster protest that went on at VA Tech recently? Seems some folks there had also purchased legal weapons and would like to be allowed to have them for their personal protection. Imagine that after something tragic like that happens.

Sent, I am going to a show in Hampton tomorrow. This will be the first show I have gone to in about 3 months. I bet there will be protestors outside the doors.

i hav'nt heard about the empty holster protest but if i read your post right then this is just the issue that i stress all the time,,,,if more law abiding citizens are armed,,,then there will be less and less stories such as the Va Tech story,,,,these friggin nutcases will have to wonder whos packin and whos not before they go off the air

Hey there Mr rem700man I never knew you had political asperations. If you get to be the next Gov can I come down and hunt for free.
I believe gun shows have always been a target because the MAN cant control them as tightly as they would like.

nice ta see ya old buddy,,,oh yeah i have some political asperations alright,,,these pricks make me sick,,,it amazes me how they would go after the familys of the va.tech shootings to promote the ban on the so-called "gunshow loophole" when a gunshow was not involved anywhere in the story,,,these familys need someone to blame for the losses of their children and rightly so,,but i would like to see blame put on the problem,,,and,,might i point a finger in a general direction of lets say,,,,why did the school not shut classes down after the 1st shootings???? why did this nutcase have 2 and a half hours to kill 30 more people,,,where was school security,,,where was the local police,,,do a search on vt shootings and let me tell ya,,,you will find all kinds of blame without ever looking into what part an innanimate object(gun) took in the killings! Call me buddy
