I would say yes. In Florida at the WMAs with high does (probuably all) the unbreed does will continue to cycle. So I would expect you will see rutting intill Feb. Check my e-mail, we were on some hot rutting activity this weekend.

Hey Chuck,
On the property I hunt in Polk, we don't see the big bucks until late December. Florida seems to be weird as far as the rut goes, with deer breeding at many different times of the year.

I can relate big time..next few hunts my calls stay home..I've had the same experience.

I beleive you are correct...late Dec. I called one out with a Can in Florida ..late Dec.and killed it...They were rutting then.

I would not leave the calls at home. I would take them, but only use it if you see a buck that is not coming your way. I figure if you the buck is not heading towards you have nothing to lose, but yeah I would not really use deer calls on public land. I think the deer get called to all the time and it is hard to trick them.
