Just got back from an evening hunt tonight and bumped 2 on the way in and saw 1 big doe on the stand. But I am seeing a lot of big bucks just not in range. Watched one make a scrape earlier in the week and more and more rubs are starting to pop up every day!!!

I had a really close encounter with a 140-150 class buck on Saturday. He was 5 feet on the other side of the fenceline I hunt and he never came over. So close, but its gotten me excited. This warm weather is killing me though, hopefully we get some cold weather that sticks around.

Walton in Boone county.
That day I seen that big buck, I had 6 small yearlings come by. The bucks are moving here, but nothing big enough to take. I really want to get a big one this year. Hopefully things start kicking into gear soon.

i shot a little button buck saturday mornin (muzzleloading opener)..we wasnt in the stand an hour and we heard him blow about 100 yards in front of us, and my cousin who was with me (two man stand) hit the primos can and that sucker came balls to wall straight towards us and i made a perfect shot with him quarterin towards..its only my 2nd deer but now i got the small ones in my record book and get to hunt for the big ones lol

I passed a button buck, 4 does, and a small 4 and 6 pointerthis weekend. I just wasnt in the mood to deal with a dead deer in 80 degree weather. Plus there is always modern gun to take out the does, I was mainly out for a buck.
How did everyone else do?
