Great deer Chuck. Have you taken any out of Green Swamp? That place baffles me... I can sit in an area where I figure that I am sure to see deer and .... nothing.

Mike, have you seen this picture? Another thing, the GS southboader fence seperates GS and the Overstreet Ranch. The ranch has cattle feedtroughs, mineral boxes and salt licks and the deer are constantly jumping the fence back and forth to GS...............The picture is from the West unit and most of the time you need a4X4.

Yeah, I've seen it Reb. Thing of beauty isn't it?

As far as the southern border... are you talking about the area south of the tram grade/stanley fish hole road area?

I've never even heard of that ranch. I probably drive by it all the time; I'm not always that observant.

I do beleive he is talking about that area Mike...near Levy road..near the big power cables..The reason I don't hunt it...during firearm it gets lots of hunters, and the road is too narrow for 2 vehiclesto pass easily. I hve done some scouting there ..it looks good but again..too crowded.

Crowded? Chuck, it runs the length of the Withlacoochee. Hey guys, if you drive north on 471 you will pass the main entrance tothe Overstreet Ranch that stops at the Withlacoochee and Green Swamp starts....I have been on the Overstreet and also have a video of Eurasian boars on the OSthat go back and forth from OS to GS.....

Same on the North in the Slash Pine next to the Richloomfence. When the dogs are running in RL they drive the deer into GS.

Thanks for the PM REb,
Yep..that is where I thought the Overstreet Ranch was..It's like Mike said ..it's off of Tanic Road ..and real close ot Levee ..If one follow the Power Cable down on Levee south it will go to Overstreet as well or drive about 1/2 mile on Tanic and hike south to th eriver and cross the river..Tons of deer stands and flagger tape..It does look good though. Thanks for clarifying that Reb..through the PM.
