Opening weekend the deer were moving but it was hot. I took a 115# doe on Saturday morning. My uncle comes in with a nice 9 point he shot. Both of us shot around 9:15 am. Seen deer morning and evening. Losta scrapes and rubs early this year. I'm almost embarrased to say but I hadn't been able to shoot this year. First shot I hit a small limb and she bounded out to about 40 yrds. Next shot was double lung and she went about 50 yrds.

Good luck hunting.
