I live in charleston sc i hunt in ravenal sc and that i like 5 minutes from my house so i hunt 4 times a week sometimes. I would like to know what is a good seed to plant all year round (seperate planting each season (winter fall spring and summer) i have never tired bio-logic but it is tested in new zealand which the summer blend is rated to plant and grow in 60 degree weather with that is usally our winter lol. I dont want to have to put lime and test the ph but i usally would put out fertilizer. I have 2 major fields which only get action during the beginning of the season. And I would like to know what i should do. I heard rape was good what do yall think.

I'm right up the road from you just outside of Moncks Corner, and planted a couple of small biologic plots last year and the results were pretty good. I have some friends that planted a 3 acre field this year locally and it was beautiful when I hunted their club Thanksgiving weekend. This year I found a small bag of big game mix seed at the local feed store for a little less $ than the biologic and it worked pretty good too. I don't remember the name right off but will post it later if I find the bag or when I buy some more. Maybe this will help.
