Bogobble i went to get a big doe this weekend and couldnt even find a big doe!!!! a bunch of yearlings!! My son saw one that he said was a mule deer. but he didnt take her.
now i saw some big does on the road but not a shot.
I think they are staying to the thickest cover. i was walking a line beside a thick ,very thick, 80 acres. i spooked what sounded like a moose running through the brush. laying up. have you seen the moon. sat night i could have hunted by the moonlight.
Maybe they will start getting around better soon.

soarkrebel, I agree their hidin in thick cover right now.
I hadn't seen anything the last 4 times I've been.
and yea, the moon is full. I'm thinkin maybe I could set up
close to the beddin area, get in there before daylight, and catch em comin back to bed up. I've heard sometime their a little later
gettin back to their beds on a full moon. I think in a week or two
they will be back to their normal patterns. I hope.
