my best results this year have been from 4pm till dark...it seems on my set up i'm catching them coming from the bed.

The bucks where I hunt in N. Alabama have picked up there movement indaytime in the last few days. I am seeing small bucks and saw a very nice one cruising a greenfield about 7:30 this morning.
I think it is time to spend the day if possible when the cold weather is here.

Me and my son will be in the woods Saturday. Since it has turned colder the deer are moving more. I shot a nice five point yesterday in the field in front of my house. It was the first buck I have seen in the field all season.

Going out this weekend hopefully. No school on Monday so maybe a good long weekend of hunting.

Don't yall just love how the weather turns warm on the weekends and drops below freezin during the week when we all have either work or school? It's gonna be in the 70's here this weekend and all next week the lows are in the 20's, except for Monday when we're all off, it's gonna rain. It's ridiculous.

I can't get back to Butler County till next Thursday. I'm hurt'in to go but work and familycome first. Oh, well. My brother is out at our place and called me earlier today, he and a buddy saw a nice half racked buck. If the broken side looked like the good side he would have been a ten point. But he was young so he walked. We got some pictures of a small eight point on another stand, I'll see if I can post them.
