While doing soming scouting east of lake okeechobee I came across some cat tracks that were about 4 inches by 4 inches at their widest. I would guess panther tracks from the size but could they be from a bobcat?
They were following deer tracks than disappeared into the swamp.

that would be cool, Lygers are my favorite animal. But I answered my own question with the internet at my disposal. Most likely Panther tracks from the size of the prints 4" x 4" at its widest and longest, I didn't have a camera with me so no pictures. Panthers are cooler than bobcats, so I'll go with panther tracks.

Got to be a Florida Panther with a foot that size. They are moving them all over the state it seems. In Jan. a friend of mine was in a tree stand south of DeFuniak Springs and he had a doe run under his standwith a panther with acollar on right behind her.

My guess would be Panther. I was drawn for Kicco { River Ranch area}and I scouted parts of it the other day. They say they have seen Panthers there as well. I saw a large box trap in the woods there. I was wondering if that was to try and catch one. Kicco is besidethe Kissimmee. River.
