Just so y'all know, it isn't what you think. I responded and actually talked to the guy in charge. What they are doing is just getting input from a varied population about the issue, in order to take it up with the powers that be. It is attitudes like the one above that will kill it. It will go before an assembly, then the results will then be taken to the wildlife commision, who will then take it to the.... .... ... .. .

RE: NC Hunters MUST READ!!!!!!
Tough one, well, I moved here from California about 10 years ago,In California, you can shoot ONE deer, and get 10 days in October to do it, ONE deer. After finding out I can shoot 6 deer, and get from the second week in September (I bow hunt) til January 1st, or roughly 14 weeks to hunt, Taking Sundays off is no problem. I do understand both sides, but compared to where I am from, This is a hunters paradise, 6 days a week or 7. I have filled my tags every year since I moved here so one more day doesn't matter. I do know plenty of folks around here that don't want to worry about gunshots on Sundays, they want to spend time with their families after church and I will respect that no matter what the law says.

I saw the comment board on there a few weeks ago and was def. "for" hunting on Sunday. I grew up in S.C. and one could hunt on sunday on Private land. If people's only opportunity is to hunt on Sunday, then more power to them. I for one will take advantage of sunday hunting once it is available.
