I hunt in the Abbeville, McCormick, Greenwood, areas...have only seen one doe and that was right at dark. She is in my freezer now.<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> The deer seem to be moving right at dark, but maybe this cold front will get them moving a little earlier.

Split-toe noticed you are from Easley. I live in Pelzer just about 15 mins down HWY 8. Have been there many times with kids playing LL ball. Seems to be a very nice area and people.

You have a nice little ride to hunt. Must be some excellent land. I have some friends at church who have family property in McCormick that hunt. They have had some pretty good success this past week.

I hunt in Pickens on Keowee MGT land, so far I've only seen a small cowhorn and a doe, but I didn't see anything until it turned cooler. There is a lot of pressure already on this land!

I hunt in Laurens County killed one 6 pointer. All the deer seem to be moving at night. All I do is bowhunt.

I bowhunt only in Greenville Co. I may head up to Fants Grove next week. Haven't been there in two years. Most deer I'm seeing is within the last hour of light. I've got a button buck and 6 pt so far. Been letting some walk in hopes a nice one is following does.

I live in Greer and mostly bowhunt in Laurens County on private land
(1000 acres-no lease and only myself and one other hunter unless he
or I brings a guest) and 2 of my 3 children hunt with me. So far this
year I've only gotten a doe but there is a big buck there so now I'm
after him!

For those of you that are hunting Laurens County as myself. What are you seeing, happening rut or pre rut?? When are you seeing most of your deer? Do you only hunt weekends?? Just trying to do some research for myself and any other hunters out there.
