Northern VA - Crossbow practice.

There aren't any woods or open fields near enough to you ? At most you need 40 yards . If a club that I'm paying good money to shoot at tried to tell me what weapon to use I'd find another place to shoot , it's none of their business what you choose for a weapon if it's legal for use in your state . Next they'll be telling you what color to paint your house .

not sure if you can shoot a crossbow there, but the bull run battefield has a trap range and an indoor archery range.........only 20 yards but you might be able to shoot a crossbow there

Thanks for the input.
Isaac Walton has put a committe to study options.
Bull Run does notallow crossbows.
No open fields or woods that arenot private or countyproperty.
I'll keep looking.
Thx.

I've only been to the Centreville Isaac Walton a few times and that was a few years ago. I belong to the Manassas/Brentsville club and we have the Prince William Archers at ours. We have a 25 yd. indoor range. I'll check and see if crossbows are allowed if you're interested. It's a 30 min. drive from Fair Oaks.

Coolbrze0,
Where is the Brentsville location and does it have a rifle/pistol range? The Centreville one is on the far side of me and would like to find something closer.
