Yea those are some nice counties. Anything from Vance over towards you in that northern to north central area is good. My fatherinlaw is originally from Reidsville(spelling?)

Correction...I was thinking of Davidson up through Rockingham couties, but a friend of mine works or did work for a railroad co ( I think it was CSX) out of Hamlet and he was always telling me about the huge bucks he would see at night while he was traveling the tracks. Congrats again and good luck next year!

Well just for human interest, I put my lucky deer hunting hat I used this season on ebay for auction. Believe it or not, it SOLD. A guy in California bought it. It just goes to show ya, a deer hunter will buy anything he thinks will increase his chances of killing a buck these days. I don't blame em, I'm quilty of the same diease myself. I have bought stuff you wouldn't believe. LOL

I live in Marlboro County, SC. Which borders Richmond Co. NC. There are some nice bucks up that way. Another good place around that area is right out of Southern Pines. I call em' city deer, but they are everywhere.

Anson county is best known for the biggest bucks around here though.

Oh yeah. I about forgot.

Great bucks. I love the 6pt! A buddy of mine killed a MONSTER two years ago and got it mounted. 220lbs and it was only a 6pt too.

Yeah StrutnBPS, the last buck, the 9 pointer, came out of Richmond County, NC. Yes and you are right about Anson county as well here. It's know for really nice deer too.
