Macon ?

In the Macon, Ga area, when does the gun season come in and approximately when does the rutstart? TIA

Rifle season starts Oct 22nd. The rut usually(?) hits around the first or second week in November

last year the rut hit good over in macon just about turkey day in Nov...

I hunt in Monroe County, last year the rut came in at the firt of Novemeber. I think one thing that plays a big part of it here is there weather. We were all shocked the rut was a little early. They hit their second run around the first or second week in December last year as well.
