i feel certain that the buck was shot in wheeler county but could have been collingsworth county. i don't know if the buck was entered into a contest or anything. i do know the mount is now hanging in the little gun shop/taxedermy(sp) in wellington, texas. i should be going over there next weekend to get some corn and bullets and i'll ask if i can takea picture with my digital and i'll put it on here.

I am from Wichita Falls, I hunt right here in town and the last two deer I shot were in the upper 120's. Let me know if you want to hunt I might be able to take you.

Born, raised and live in Collin County.
Grew up hunting rabbits & squirrels
and alot of fishing. Last 3 seasons been
hunting deer, uplandbirds & a little waterfowl
also, though hunting is the operative word here.
A decent place that won't cause a family
lifestyle plunge seems hard to come by.
Public land at least gives the opportunity
to get out in the woods and fields.

God bless

Just north of you. If I am not in the garage turning coyote calls, then I am on the WMA's calling like a _fool_ for them.
