elkhunteresquire, in my opinion, snaring is just as fun as calling em in, and certainly not easier than calling them. I find it much harder as the tiniest little things when setting your snares make a difference, and if u do something tiny wrong, u may not get any coyotes at your bait site at all, as they have figured u out.. Cheers!!!!!!!

101, sorry to here that, yeah, if there are any domestic dogs where your going to snare, well, i dont know what to say... Ask the person if its ok to snare there still cus if there is a free running dog near by, and u set bait, u will catch him. Not good as u could loose priveledges and permission everywhere, trust me, i learned the hard way about 5 years ago....Nothin too bad happened, just upset the farmer, ALOT! Just be careful,

later bud, Sako7mm[:-]

Thats why the SNARE word bothers me......You can't really control what you catch to much extent. If your calling you have the option of killing the neighbors cat, dog, etc. Nothing wrong with traps when used correctly, in the right area and with a little thought. Just my two cents worth.
