its kinda hard to explain the methods on here unless i was to sit down for hours and type it all out .... main thing as in any trappin is location location location .... also try to keep equiptment as scent free as possible .... ya can pick up sum great books and videos that will help ya as far as techniques .... and after awhile ya will come up with ya own modified sets or originals .... if ya have yahoo give me a shout sumtime and maybe i can give ya sum pointers .... canis_lupus692002

hey lol ya so u snared them? u used a ankel snare right? weell i just got into snaring and decided on neck snares? u usem u like? what type of cable u use i use aircraft?

the ones in the pictures are caught in footholds .... 1.75 offset jaws .... use the 1.75 here cuzz its easy on the reds and greys ..... as far as snares ... i use the 3/32 sized cable for yotes

I've been thinking about starting to trap yotes. can't wait. 300 rats! wow I wish I could catch 30.

i see one of them has its mouth taped shut i know you do that to avoid being bitten, how come you dont just shoot them? or do you have some way to put them out so you dont hurt the hide? or do you put a leash on them and walk them back to your truck like a dog lol (sarcasm). Im really just curious at what point do you kill them??

i studied the pictures some more............hehe they dont look all too happy, one of them is lookin like yea A-hole come here at pet me lol..
