Please no one take this offensive. I was just wondering why people trap squirrel and rabbit. I would understand if you are having a problem with infestation or something but I don't see the point otherwise. It can't be as fun as hunting them and you can't get nearly as many if you want alot? Please let me know I was just wondering. Thanks - Buckhunter14

You all make good points. As for buying a trap and using it over and over again. You could buy a gun and it would last you your whole life and then some if you take good care of it.

If you were trapping to keep the hide, the price would be more expensive.
Trap- $15
Stake- $2
Fleshing beam (if bought)- $30
Fleshink knife- $50
Dye- $4
Wax-$12
Stretchers- $10
Total- $123
Gun and ammo- $100
Not to mention the gas you use to get out there everyday.

Thats the ammo once though. You still gotta buy ammo though, you may have to buy all the other stuff more than once, too, Im not sure. Im not into trapping, It was just a thought.
