That's not your average run-of-the-mill predator rifle there, is it.:) I don't think my .223 has that much range on it, even on a good still day. I have only shot one over 100. It was maybe 150 with a .222 from a tractor. Everthing that has come to a call has come a lot closer. Average maybe 40 yards or so.
No it is not the usual but he had it there and there was a coyote and i just had to try it. Normally we run them with dogs and we shoot them with shotguns.

ive shot a coyote with my ruger m77 .22-250 at well over 500 yards if you take the time to make sure your gun is sighted and you know the guns trajectory you can really shoot that far with alot of guns! you just have to know your gun, but the .22-250 is the most accurate gun ive ever shot!

I'm 14 and last deer season i shot one at 650 yards with my 308. It was standing still. I used 150. core lokt bullets

ever heard of a .338 lapua this is no kidding i had a friend who had one and let me shoot a yote at 950 yds. He has shot them at over a 1000 yards. I know that most people are not going to believe me, but this is 100% true
I believe you any thing is possible.

When I was about 4 or 5 yrs old my uncle picked up a golf ball size rock
And we seen a cat about 100 yrds away
And he said I think I will hit that cat.
He threw the rock what looked like striaght up and after a few seconds
the cat fell dead as a nail.
We went to see and the rock hit it right on top of its head.
He was really picking but he hit it.
Talk about a lucky hit.
Not for the cat.
