I just got a box of the Velocitors for xmas. I had a 5 shot goup at 50 yards that measured just under a 1/2" with my Ruger 77/22. I shot one into an 8" long fruit cake at 50 yards and recovered the bullet. It was mushroomed out nicely and traveled 7" into the fruit cake. The 40gr gold dot hollow point traveling at over 1400 fps should be a good hunting bullet.
I was wondering how they preformed on coyotes and fox? How does everyone like them?
Thanks

i bought a box of them... so far i have shot one squirrel with that particular bullet. Dropped him from 50 yards i have read around many places that they are the best bullets for coyotes and foxes for a .22 so use them but limit shot range and make good shots.

Gundigest. have you tried shooting a regular 22lr like a hollow point into a fruit cake? if so what was the differance in the two? just would like to know. how much are velocitors? are they like a stinger?

they are a super velocity 22 like a stinger just they have standard 22 LR case demensions and a 40 grain hollow point moving over 1400 fps. If you ask me I think these velocitors have more hit then the stingers and are deffinately more accurate, I know some people have had feed problems with stingers but with the velocitors you shouldnt.
