I got the fruit cake for xmas as a joke, so no I have not tried any other .22 ammo for penetration. This fruit cake had nuts and hard pieces of fruit though. The wallmart here sells them for just under $4 a box. I can't wait to try them on a crow or coyote.

I went to a friends property today the jack rabbits are over populated and keep getting into his feeders and eating everything. We went and did a little hunting we got 3 a piece most shots were less then 50 yards those velocitors were devistating on those jack rabbits they were leaving dime sized exit holes. One of my jack rabbits was a 150+ yard shot I wasnt sure of the shot at first I never shot at a animal that far with a 22 hit it in the shoulder and the bullet exited out the other shoulder leaving its arm dangling by a little flesh.


heres a pic of my Customized ruger 10-22 and a target with a 10 shot velocitor group at 75 yards, also a velocitor recovered from two wet phone books bound together the little pieces were found about half way through the first phone book and the main chunk of the slug was found about half way through the second phone book.

nice 10/22 i want one just like it! just dont have any money after xmas im shure you know how that is. but that is what i plane on building as soon as i get the money.
