I don't know of any areas that still have a bounty on coyotes. Back in the day (90's) there was a bounty on coyotes in south east washington state. I'd check with your local Cattlemens Association or the equivalent for NC.

In eastern WV where i live there is a 25.00 bounty on coyotes as far as i know, if they havent changed it. I think it used to be 50 but they dropped it down to 25. I think Virginia has a 50 dollar bounty on them as well. My friend killed one last year and turned it in, it took forever to get his money.

i got this from nafa.ca

Coyotes - Lower price levels from competing trim articles and import problems into China influenced the price levels and clearances of Coyotes in our May and September sales. In the short term, price levels for Heavy and Semi Heavy types should remain close to these levels, however, since this article is used primarily for trim, flatter sections may have to be sold at discounted prices. Although most inferior qualities were sold in our May Sale, low-grades (Section III) will continue to be extremely difficult to sell or be very cheap. This is directly related to the limited use of this type of merchandise and high cost of dressing.

aka you might get 30 bucks if you dont put a lot of holes in them
