Just wanted to let you guys know that I shot my first "varying hare" last night. Running at about 20-25 yards hit him with some #4's.

good job on getting your first kill. Sad to say i don't remember my first hare kill but i do remember my first kill with my bow

What the heck is a "varying hare". Do you mean Snowshoe hare? Lepus americanus?

Yes, my dad's a biologist (sp?) and just calls them that sometimes.
