You heard wrong I have shot a gazillion squirrels with my marlin
modle 10 single shoot since I was 10 yrs old, Im now 45 yrs old.

To me they are one of the best squirrel guns in the world.

So you keep on shooting them bushy tails with it ok.

I got a marlin 880.. I've shot a whole truck load of squirrel with it..

I Shoot .117 caliber pellet guns that go over 1000 fps. Or i take out one of my trusty marlin .22's. I like the .177 cals for speed.

I shoot squirrels with my Marlin 60 auto loader in 22lr. Aint nuthin wrong with it.

I use either a CZ bolt action .22 or my 20 Gauge sometimes I take a .410

12, 20 bores or .22 air rifle does the job for me

I use a remington 870 20, a Stoeger o/u 12 a remington speedmaster .22 and a gamo shadow hunter .177

12g 870 with #6; rem um....581 (i don't know and its at home) .22 bolt with iron sights BUT if I had my choice I'd go with a "grown up" .177 rifle. either open or x2 scope.
870 for early season or when i don't feel like sitting still

.22 cal. ruger super-six with a 4x and a set of shooting sticks.
