Does or has anyone eat coyote? I dont, jsut seems weird to me, but i have heard of people doing this. What do you do with all the coyotes that you kill. I was just wondering if anyone has ever ate them. I usually skin them.

If you aren't going to eat it or make something nice out of the pelt or have livestock to protect, why would you shoot one?

Shooting is a sport, hunting is a much more sacred business.

yea. . .

. . . but there is always that one that the bullet tears appart lol then you can't do anything with either. but it's always fun to pulll the trigger on something, but i do agree to an extent that there should be a point to shooting something

For one thing they over populate real fast.

They eat all the local game like rabbits and squirrels.

When thats is gone they start going in peoples back yards and start killing peoples pets that are tied up.

Then there is the raybees thing that is a problem.

Another words in some places they are just like really big rats.

They get in chicken houses and kill chickens.

and kill a lot of small live stock.

Some times they will kill just to kill even if they are not hungry.

And the thought of your small children playing in your yard being attacked by them.

I seen a show where in one town the coyotes were so many they had to have people with guns

standing around a school play ground to keep them from attacking the children.

I couldnt of said it any better than jrbsr, I have also watched them carry off pheasant and quail not to mention finding a dead fawn thats been tore up by yotes. I kill em because they are there and will continue to do so. I get so tired of people telling me that you better not kill it if your not going to eat it, in my opinion thats the first step to becoming a peta punk! I kill for a reason not for the fun of it.If this upsets anyone then I am sorry but thats how it is!
