Hey, when i go varment hunting with my .17hmr, im gone for about 2-3 hours or more, back by a creek a few miles from my house. i havn't gone yet, but i was just wandering what u think i should take, or what you take.(first aid kit, cleaning equptment, pair of dry sox, ect.....) i just want to carry a small backpack.
anyway, i would apreaciat some input.

When I hunt only a few hours I carry a 1st aid kit (I always carry one in my cargo pocket) Water bottle or 2. Plenty of shells. Knives, calls for what ever your hunting.Cell phone or 2 way radios. Thats about it.

For 2-3 hours, I take a gun, the clothes on my back, a knife, the calls I need, and a smile.

I take a pack of ciggerrettes, some shells, walkie talkie if im with my friends.

I carry a cell phone ,water, extra ammo, binocalers,bug spray and TP in my pack

I just take my gun, and lots of ammo. Maybe the truck along with if i'm shooting in a pasture.

My 22 lotsa shells camo clothing orange vest orange hat my rocky's and some snuff.
