To be honest in over 35 years of doing predator control work I have never saw a device that shoots a shell or bullet and never heard of anyone useing such a thing.This would constitute being a set gun which was been illegal for long before I can remember.I would certinly check the laws before I got involved in anything like what you described.Better to be safe than sorry, especially in this case.
