Well i think im gonna finally give night hunting a try. For coyotes that is. But i need all the tips i can get to let me know what exactly to do. Heres a couple questions i got. Do you constantly leave your light on and scan for eyes. Or do you turn it on every coupld minutes. What tapes seem to work good at night? any sudgestions you have for me let me know. THanks.

well generaly speaking coyote hunting at night will be less productive then during the day.that is you will see more during daylight.more coyotes will reponed at night but you'll never know it.coyotes can, will and do make a wide sweap circling you at night and unless your in the wide open west it can be very diffacult to pick them.as far as the light goes you can leave it on or turn it off and on,i don't think it matters.if you can turn it on and off with little or no movment then do so other wise leave it on.good tapes are pup distress, fox fight, fox killing a rabbit, coyote killing a rabbit, coyote killing a fox and my favorite, kitten distress.you can try coyote at night but you should hunt them during the day at leave night hunting for the fox.fox hunting is very productive at night and a whole lotta fun.
