I bought an 80# crossbow pistol at a gun show this weekend, and I'm hoping to use it for squirrels and cottontails, anybody else do this??? I'm thinking I might try it just for fun, but I don't want to waste valuable time with it if it's sure not to work.

Greets,
I suggest you test fire it a few times to be sure of it. I bought one years ago that claimed 40# prod. I had trouble poking thru a cardboard box at more that 15 yards or so. Just a warning to you so you dont unintentionally leave an injured critter to suffer.
Just my uneducated opinion!

FIRST CHECK IT OUT, AND THEN IF YOU SAY YOU ARE GOING TO TRY AND SHOOT SQUIRRELS AND COTTONTAILS CHECK YOUR GAME REGS. TO MAKE SURE ITS LEGAL TO USE IT. JUST LOOKING OUT FOR YOU
